NOAS believes it is imperative to establish guidelines regarding the confidential information inherent in daily interactions with consumers and clients. Therefore, guidelines regarding the security, maintenance, and confidentiality of all agency records will be followed.
All NOAS employees are required to maintain complete confidentiality of all case related information, including contents of the case record.
All records relative to the administrative operation of the agency’s business, i.e., Board of Trustees, fiscal, (contracts, financial performance, credit, budgetary information) personnel, etc., are confidential.
All records relative to services of the agency in the provision of foster and adoptive placements to children and families are confidential.
All requests related to foster and adoptive families and children from clients, attorneys, community social service or mental health professionals, etc., must be in writing.
