NOAS prides itself on our training program, offering both pre-service and continuing education programs. At NOAS, we are here for you every step of the way.
NOAS charges NO FEES for any of the classes listed below.
NOAS EDUCATION CLASSES
PRE-SERVICE TRAINING
Are you ready to make a difference by providing a caring, temporary home for foster youth? We recommend taking our pre-service training classes as a next step. We offer the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program Pre-Service training series.
NOAS is happy to provide training to those already licensed as a caregiver.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Educational resources for parents to help them develop the skills, knowledge, and support they need to parent foster youth.
TBRI® TRAUMA-INFORMED PROGRAMS
These trauma-informed training programs provide caregivers, professionals, and community members with practical tools and strategies to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
MANAGING CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS
Managing Challenging Behaviors is a training designed to equip resource parents with the skills needed to care for older youth experiencing moderate to severe emotional and behavioral challenges. This training incorporates the nationally recognized Critical Ongoing Resource Family Education (CORE Teen) curriculum, ensuring participants receive evidence-based guidance and support. Classes are coming soon.
