David, Age 12

David is a bright and imaginative child with a wide range of interests that reflect his creative and playful personality. He has a special fondness for stuffed animals, especially foxes, which he enjoys collecting and playing with during his free time. At home, David likes listening to his radio—his favorite station is a country music station—playing games on his laptop, and racing his toy cars. He attends church every Sunday with his foster mother and has formed a meaningful bond with the pastor, highlighting his ability to build trusting relationships. Outside of school, David enjoys spending time at the library where he often plays games on the computer, and he is an active participant at the YMCA, where swimming is one of his favorite activities. Overall, David is a curious and social child who thrives in environments where he can engage both his mind and his imagination.

David would thrive in a single-parent home with a nurturing mother and a few older siblings who can provide support and positive role models. He has done well with his current foster mother, especially with a consistent daily routine that helps him feel secure. David benefits from calm, understanding adults who offer both structure and emotional support. He would do well living in a city where he can enjoy being active in the community through church, the library, and the YMCA. David loves animals—especially cats—and would enjoy having them in the home. A family that encourages his creativity and interests would be a great fit. He needs a stable and loving home where he can continue building strong, trusting relationships.
