Bridges Liaison (Young Adult Case Manager)

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Bridges Supervisor

ROLE: Bridges Liaison is responsible to develop and monitor a plan (housing, employment, education, mentoring) for young adults aging out of foster care at age 18 until they turn 21. This voluntary statewide program called Bridges is designed and funded through ODJFS and administered through Child & Family Health Collaborative of Ohio. The Bridges Liaison will serve as the primary support and contact for Bridges participants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in social work or related field.
  • Two years’ experience working with children, teens or young adults
  • Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and ability to drive /travel throughout the state
  • Pass a BCI/FBI background check and drug/alcohol screening
  • Ability to work non-typical hours as needed (evening and weekends)

Job Type: full-time

Pay: From $44,000.00 per year

Foster Youth Advocate – Wendy’s Wonderful Kids® Recruiter

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Wendy’s Wonderful Kids® Supervisor

ROLE: Wendy’s Wonderful Kids® Recruiter is responsible for the effective, aggressive and accountable recruitment activities for Ohio children in need of adoption. Following the established model of Wendy’s Wonderful Kids®, the recruiter will have a caseload of children specifically referred by counties to this program. The recruiter will be responsible for working toward the matching and adoption goals specific to his/her grant. This goal focus is to establish permanency for all of the children on the caseload. The scope of work is from initial referral until legal permanency.
