Mercades would love to have a career following in the footsteps of her favorite YouTube stars, Matty B & Johnny Orlando. She can almost always be found singing with her earbuds in or having a dance party. Mercades also enjoys trips to the YMCA. Her favorite subject is science, and her favorite food is wings. Mercades hopes to visit Disney one day to see the inspirations behind some of her most loved tunes!
Mercades desires a family of any structure as long as they are “nice, loving and caring.” She is very affectionate and tends to connect quickly to parent figures. Mercades would do well as an only child but could also be placed in a home where there are other girls. She is socially immature and will need a parent who can advocate for her both at school and in the community. Mercades is open to attending a church youth group and hopes to have a cat and a dog. She would like to live in the country where she can swim and watch movies with her forever family. Is your family ready to dive in and take a chance on this special girl?

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth
Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem-solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.
A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
