Markia is a smart, creative, and soft spoken young lady. She is a preteen who enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading chapter books and has recently begun taking yoga classes. She expresses herself best through her artwork! She can often be found sketching or playing with her dolls, as she is a child at heart. Her favorite place to eat is Chipotle.
The most important thing for Markia is having invested and patient parents who will help nurture and support her. She would do best in a family where she is the only child, as she is in need of a great deal of time and attention. She will do well in a family with a calm dynamic and one where she will be encouraged to step outside of her comfort zone every once in a while to try new things. Unfortunately, Markia hasn’t had the opportunity to really explore her surroundings to discover her likes and dislikes. Once she feels comfortable with someone and opens up to them, she is able to form genuine connections. A family who has the patience to meet her where she is at emotionally and developmentally, and who is willing to help her feel secure, will be perfect for her.
