Makya (Mac), Age 14
Makya (Mac) is an insightful and open child. Although he is small in stature for his age, he seems to be an old soul. He is on a path where he is discovering new things about himself that he never understood before. He is finding comfort in being able to figure things out but admits he is a work in progress. Mac enjoys being in a smaller class as it is easier for him to pay attention. His favorite subject is Math. He likes baseball and would like to try playing the sport in the future. His favorite music is country, and his favorite country artist is Luke Bryan. Like any child his age, he loves video games but also likes to be outside. His favorite season is spring and summer. He likes these seasons because of the new life with flowers and plants. Mac also enjoys doing puzzles; he shares it helps calm his mind. Mac would like to have the opportunity to bird-watch and learn to ride a horse one day.
Mac would do best in a home with two parents and older siblings. He would prefer a two-parent home with a mom and dad. Mac needs a family that can be very involved, has an open mind, and is willing to have some difficult conversations. He will need a lot of attention as well as patience to continue his journey of learning more about himself and what he wants in life. Mac would prefer animals in the home and to be in the country. He shared there is more to see and do in a rural area.
