Keith, Age 18

Keith is a very energetic boy who loves to make people laugh. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, helping with projects around the house, drawing and listening to rap or country music. Keith’s favorite subject is math because he likes to count. He would love to take a trip to the beach or to hang out at Chuck E Cheese. Keith hopes to become a police officer in the future so that he can help make sure other kids are safe. His favorite food is lasagna.

Even though Keith is a teenager, he is still very child-like in many ways. Despite his many hurts and losses, Keith is still able to find joy in the simple things of life. Keith prefers a “mommy & a daddy” who have a dog. He will require close supervision and should be the only child or placed with older children. He also needs a parent who can advocate for his educational needs. Keith is open to attending church and would love to go fishing or to the gym as a family. Could you be the family to put Keith’s broken pieces back together?

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
