James, Age 17
James is delightful to be around. He looks like a college football player but is very sweet and kind. He is charismatic and independent. James is able to make conversation and likes to get to know you. He enjoys sports and being active. Some of his favorite activities this summer were riding his bike and playing baseball and basketball with his friends. He is an athletic kid and has participated in wrestling, track, and football in the past. Right now, he is concentrating on school and his grades. Like any teen, he appreciates hanging out with his friends. His favorite music is Christian Rap, and he loves to sing. He attends church weekly, and praise and worship is his favorite part of the service. James prefers Madden, NBA, and baseball games on the Xbox when he is home. His favorite football team is the Browns. Social Studies is his favorite subject as he shares that “the answers are right there.” He likes to grill, and his favorite food is grilled chicken. James is supportive of others and likes to help talk to people if he sees them upset.
James is interested in a two-parent home. He would like a brother around the same age that appreciates sports. He would like the chance to have a close relationship with his sibling so that they can do things together, like Xbox, sorts, or just hang out. James did not specify whether he would like the country or city life. He has the best of both worlds right now. James likes animals and would love a dog in the home. He would do best in a home with two parents that can keep him busy and stay active with him. He is looking forward to getting a job and finishing up high school, so parents that are able to keep him motivated and help him navigate his future would be ideal.
