Hezekiah, Age 9

If Hezekiah were a superhero, he’d love to have Spiderman’s web-slinging abilities! This energetic child is fond of spending as much time outdoors as he can, especially when the weather is perfect for riding his bike. Hezekiah is an active little boy with a lot of energy and a creative imagination. He is a very smart child who takes pride in his intelligence and his ability to figure out how things work. He loves building with Legos and playing board games.

Hezekiah would benefit greatly from having strong and active parents. He would do best in a family where he’s the only child thus getting a lot of time and attention. Hezekiah needs a nurturing, stable and engaging family who will have the patience to work with him on developing a trusting relationship, so that he can feel secure. An active family that can help him channel and exert his energy positively will help him greatly. Consistency will be key for him, as will parents who communicate well and have clear expectations for him in their home. He has great potential!

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
