Dakota, Age 17

Dakota is such a fun young man to be around! He loves to cook, clean, dance and celebrate life! He also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and fishing. Dakota is a pretty adventurous guy. He is always up for trying new activities and foods. His favorite subject in school is Science, because he loves doing experiments, especially ones with cool chemical reactions!

Dakota really wants to find a family he can trust, that will give him the attention he longs for and deserves. He has been in a group home for a very long time and has done very well in his placement. He would love a two parent household and has always wanted a Dad but is open to any family that would love and accept him. He would also enjoy pets or siblings in an adoptive home, with some room to explore. Dakota is extremely friendly and loving and is desperate to find his forever family! Could you be that family?

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
