Anthony, Age 17

Anthony is an active young man with a lot of energy and a creative imagination.   His memory and attention to detail is phenomenal! He enjoys volunteering at the local animal shelter and would love to have a black Labrador to take care of. Swimming, playing football and video games are a few of his favorite activities! Anthony enjoys cooking and aspires to become a chef one day.

Anthony is open to having a two parent or single parent family who would be accepting of him remaining in contact with his older brother. He would benefit greatly from having a strong male role model. Anthony wants to be with a family that is honest, encouraging, active and fun. He is open to attending church and participating in organized activities, especially if it involves sports or playing games. Anthony needs a nurturing, stable and engaging family who will have the patience to work with him on developing a trusting relationship, so that he can feel more secure. Anthony dreams about being adopted by a family who believes in him and won’t give up on him, no matter what.

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
