Alex L, Age 15

Alex is imaginative, funny and handsome. Those were the words Alex used when asked what he likes about himself. Alex is quite a character! He is very attached to his stuffed puppy “Freddy Fred” and loves playing video games. His favorite class is math since he gets to play cool math computer games. Alex would love to be a painter some day, but his dream is to become a WWE world champion. Alex hopes to visit Kalahari in the future. His favorite food is T-bone steak.

Alex has a ton of energy and will need a family who can keep up with him. He desires a mom and a dad but will also consider other family structures. Alex wants a family who is “caring, loving and not too harsh!” Alex would enjoy the attention of being an only child but is open to having a younger brother who likes video games. Alex is willing to attend church as long as it’s fun. He really wants a pet dog and enjoys working with horses in a therapeutic setting. Alex hopes his new family will take him to Disney someday. Could your family make his dreams a reality?

Become A Mentor To A Local Foster Youth

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his or her full potential. Mentor One Who Needs Someone.
