Training Overview
TBRI® Connecting Principles:
Connecting Principles help children build trust and meaningful relationships. Our compassionate trainers teach you engagement and mindfulness strategies to meet attachment needs. NOAS families will learn to create connections that disarm fear, gain trust, and enhance learning, all while developing the attachment relationship between caregiver and child.
TBRI® Empowering Principles:
Empowering Principles help children learn important skills like self-regulation. That includes physiological and ecological strategies to meet physical needs. NOAS families will learn to empower children by addressing nutrition, hydration, and sensory needs and also assess and alter a child’s environment to promote felt-safety and learning.
TBRI® Correcting Principles:
Correcting Principles help children learn behavioral and social competence so that they can better navigate the social world they live in. That includes proactive and responsive strategies to shape beliefs and behaviors by disarming the fear. NOAS families will learn to teach positive behaviors proactively and respond to fear-based behaviors while maintaining connection.
